Our First Day in San Francisco

For our first full day in SF, we visited the typical touristy places: Fisherman's Wharf, Boudin's, Alcatraz, and Ghiradelli's.

We <heart3 SF!

 Teeheeee... Double Rainbow

Squishing Alcatraz like it's no big deal.

Pier 39 and the fat, smelly seals.  :)

At Boudin's for their clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl.  Yum!

Energized after our Boudin's breakfast -- it's what champs eat!

Too bad that cup cost too much... ;)
"San Francisco was so expen$ive I could only afford half a cup"

 Oh Andrew...
Being "Spoken 4" is a pretty good deal for you, mister! :D

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum with a Candy Gaga

Inside a really nice candy shop

Mmm frozen banana... now I understand how the Bluth Family (in Arrested Development) kept that frozen banana stand in business for so long.

 The Robotman

On our tour through Alcatraz
Those cells were tiny and depressing.

Locked. Up.

After Alcatraz, we went to In N Out for some Animal-style burgers

Followed by some delicious Ghirardelli treats at Ghirardelli Square

Inside the shop -- exactly what I imagine Willy Wonka's chocolate factory would smell like.

Ghirardelli's World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae.  So chocolatey... so good...

Some cute things seen around SF

On the way home... bye bye pigeon!

Bonus: Stinky Pier 39 seals in the morning

Tons of pictures... :)  Up next: San Francisco, Day 2 -- Lombard, Palace of Fine Arts, Exploratorium, and Japantown!
